Works really well in our basement. Cycles on and off to set humidity level like it should. App works fine. Unit recognized my wi-fi very quickly, so easy to monitor when I am away. I bought a hose so the unit drains automatically in my basement drain. All good!

We bought this Frigidaire Freezer unit after our 28 year old freezer temps were inconsistent. The new freezer is clearly superior. Even though a small sized unit, it covers the needs of two of us. This dehumidifier is awesome. Quiet and efficient. I am able to keep our entire home including the basement (about 4,700 square feet) at 42 percent humidity. Our furnace blower runs 24/7 at a very slow speed to allow better air filtration and better humidity control throughout the entire house. This humidifier humidifies the entire home.

Works excellent in my garage. Had some moisture start to build up in my 2 car garage from my fishing boat bringing in some water to the garage. This dehumidifier worked extremely well to clean up the humidity. Now I leave it on auto at all times and my garage air is clean and dry. Noticed a huge difference.

Si it was working fine & I had a message on my phone AP that the air filter was dirty after less than 1 week of use. I went to clean the air filter and found out that they did not install one at the factory. I called customer service & was told that they could not send me a filter & my only option was to return the dehumidifier to Walmart for a refund. This is a poor customer service policy. So we returned it & will not be buying this brand again.

This unit seems to be running fine. It replaces a similar 50 pint Frigidaire unit that has a 3 years warranty the company refuses to place after it failed at just over a year. I have made a dozen phone calls w/ promises to email me back regarding the replacement, but they never happen. Their extended warranty is a joke. Having a unit fail after 13 months is not a good sign.

Ordered and received in a timely way. Pretty much ready to go when unboxed, with minimal clear instructions. Set it to 'Auto', which targets 50% humidity. I've got it hooked up to a condensate pump, and the attachment to that was straightforward (one has to supply the garden hose - like hose piece). My walk-out basement is about 1400 square feet, and it maintains the humidity at he target value. It's quiet.

I bought a similar unit to this 15 months ago. This was a replacement dehumidifier from a Frigidaire I had the lasted 12 years before the fan went out.It worked great, effectively dehumidifying our basement until 1 month ago when the condenser began freezing. Despite following all maintenance instructions, cleaning the air filter when notified. This unit was placed in a well vented, dried in basement, that is typically between 60-75 degrees in the summer months. When I called Frigidaire customer service they walked me through all the fixes, or potential causes, of the unit freezing up that I already tried. After I informed the customer service representative that I already tried those solutions, he informed me there was nothing he could do because the warranty had expired (2 1/2) months ago. I'm extremely disappointed with the quality, and lifespan, of this product. I will not be purchasing another Frigidaire appliance (dehumidifier or otherwise) ever again.Hate that it will be going in a landfill after 15 months. Throw away appliance service is extremely disappointing. What happened to quality? What happened to customer service? It isn't at Frigidaire.
