I had some initial trouble adjusting it to temperature settings, and it would never kick on despite the humidity levels. After switching it to non-stop (except when full), it's been running well and regularly, with about the level of noise I expected, which is reasonable. Drainage is simple, and it will shut off and not drip when pulling out the basin and emptying (which is good, because there's some brands I've seen that do). Otherwise, setup is simple, it can be carried easily, and is on wheels for better mobility. I paid a little more than I expected to for a unit this small, but the results, overall thus far, are favorable.

Bought this dehumidifier to replace our previous GE model which was no longer available. Is the same size as the previous model which was crucial for the space it occupies in the closet. The filter is in the back and is more accessible. However, it is more noisy than the previous one which is a negative.

I love my new dehumidifier! It covers 1500 sq. ft. and does a great job. I love that when the water bin is full it automatically turns off. That™™s my cue to empty the water, which I do every 8 hours. I had no idea how much humidity was in my house. I do now and things have really improved since the day I turned it on! Thank you. The noise is minimal and the controls easy to reach and simple to operate!!

Works well. I really needed this in the summer to control the humidity at home. Super easy to use and set up. Also not very loud which I appreciate, especially since I™™m sensitive to sounds.

This dehumidifier is a workhorse! I was in need of a moisture control solution for my home gym which always had a damp smell in the air. I didn™™t realize how much I needed a dehumidifier in my family room it has made a huge difference.
I have a GE dehumidifier in my basement which of course is definitely needed in the hot humid NY spring/summer and even fall. But my family room always felt hot and muggy even with the AC on that room was just thick!
I got this GE Dehumidifier and set it up which was pretty fast except the wheels took a bit to stay in. I plugged it in and set it to Smart mode and it did its job.
But it™™s loud for a smaller dehumidifier it has some sound to it that™™s not terrible but it™™s not silent at all.
I can™™t complain though because with in a few hours the tank was already filling up and the room felt so much cooler.
After 24 hours it was able to regulate the humidity and only need to kick on when there was a change. I really do enjoy the smart mode and how easy this is to operate and clear the buttons are and screen is. The tank is a good size and doesn™™t weigh a ton when you have to dump it. It™™s simple to open it up and get the handle and dump and install right back. I am so happy this dehumidifier has made my family room a happy room again for the summer.

This dehumidifier has been a game changer in our home, especially with the high humidity we™™ve been experiencing this summer. I can™™t believe how well it works and what a difference it makes. This humidifier is very quiet. It let's you know with an alarm when its is full, and it is easy to move around. Being lightweight and having wheels let's me easily adjust placement . The water tray pulls out easily, and the controls are easy and clear to use . The humidity level was set at 55, and it turned itself off to adjust. Good little unit . I will be moving it to my basement for continous use with a hose.

25 Pint Works Good Until They Don't

This is my third 25 pint dehumidifier in four years, actually the first two were 22 pint models but everything is identical with all three. I really like the 3 speed fan with the variable Smart Dry speed. I usually set mine at 50% humidity to maintain the inside of our RV while it is in storage. The bucket can fill in as little as 5 days or not fill for two weeks. It all depends on what our Florida weather is doing. But it does keep the humidity under control in our approximate 200 square feet. The first one had a control panel failure. The second one worked fine but the compressor ran too hot and would trip the over-temperature protection every couple of hours and shut down. It wouldn't run again until I turned it back on. The third one has been running fine for a couple of weeks now and hopefully will continue to be trouble free. I deducted a star for the previous failures.
