The dryer arrived and the technicians quickly installed it. Unfortunately the service manual and registration card were cut in two when they cut the box of the dryer off of it. Therefore I cannot read my hard copy Manual for operation. The tech demonstrated the dryer worked and answered a few questions regarding operation and I appreciated that. The actual dryer is not the standard 30" but more like 03 3/4" which nearly caused it to not fit in the custom space.

All 5 above topics preform as expected. However I would rate your lint filter and housing a 1 as 1 out of 5. Never had a filter that you had to use your vacuum to suck the lint off the filter. Its almost useless
To try and use your fingers, you just cant start on one corner and lift and roll it up all at once.
The aggravation having to use your vacuum is ridiculous. Also to much lint builds up around the front outside of filter and inside front of the vent housing in front of the drum. Please correct this issue so others don™™t have this aggravation. You ask for feedback so I just gave it to you. I sure hope someone reads this. If

I hate this dryer. It is not efficient. I have yet to be able to dry a load the first time and I am talking high heat 50 minutes and it still isn't dry. It doesn't matter how little or full the load is. I got this dryer because it was the biggest cubic feet. It took a couple of days for us to install it otherwise I would have returned it but Lowes gave us 48 hours. I had a Samsung before. It had a dryer light and dried much better than this GE. Features and functionality I will miss until this dryer dies.

Dryer is large capacity which I love. It does take about 8-10 loads of drying before it heats to capacity when brand new. After this many loads, the dryer does heat properly so don™™t be alarmed when you first use your dryer if it doesn™™t get hot enough.
Cons: it doesn™™t have a light in the dryer so difficult to see as you are pulling out clothes.
Also, the dryer vent screen is a newer design with two sides. Problem is the plastic square holes at the top hold lint even if it is not full. So as you pull multiple clothes out after a cycle, some may drag across the top plastic piece and now you have lint balls on your clothing.
Fix these two problems and it will be a 5/5 dryer.

DIO the dryer so far has been great. It definitely has a larger capacity than our last dryer and seems to dry the clothes a lot faster as well. Still trying to figure out all the features and the technology. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a new dryer. We got the matching washer as well. Don't forget to level all the legs like I did and have to pull it back out to level it out.

This dryer is similar to my old GE model. Just like the old one, I don't find the auto dry cycle very useful. Even if I set to "more dry," my jeans seem to come out damp. I also don't like the new lint filter because I find it harder to clean. And I really miss how the old cool down / wrinkle release was automatic at the end of the cycle. On the positive side, I do like that it notifies me through my phone when the dry cycle is completed. It is a nice basic model without the complicated bells and whistles, but it does seem like they intentionally removed some features to get you to buy a more expensive version.

So far it's okay. However I don't believe the dry sensor works as it should. I have to put it on a timer after every single load because it's never fully dry. Especially if there are hoodies or jeans in there. Just kind of a pain usually takes an additional 10 to 20 minutes.

I use this along with the GE washer as a stack model. The dryer is hard for me to set without using a step stool. The controls are way to high to be sold and advertised as a stack model.

I absolutely love this dryer. It™™s quiet, drys quicker, and has a great lint filter. I have always had GE products and they have always worked well. But I love this dryer. This dryer has a very large drying capacity. And it drys in almost half the time of my old dryer.

This is the first GE dryer we've owned, The first time we used it was on a big load on the More Dry setting and we felt sure something was wrong as it finished so quickly. BUT, everything was dry. No problem. Next load, put on regular settings. DRY! Can't rave about the efficiency of this product enough.

I really like this GE Dryer so far. This is our 1st GE appliance and I am pleased with it's performance. It is easy to use. I love the extra capacity it has for our larger loads. I like the features. The app isn't the best but it is useful and I didn't buy it for the app. If it continues to do well, I will definitely buy the matching washer, when my other washer dies.

This dryer is great! Very sleek and quiet. I love the WiFi capability since I don™™t always hear when the tone goes off but the app will tell me. Installation was super easy. It dries clothes really fast and the lint trap is very easy to clean!

My goodness I love this GE dryer! We have been in the market for a replacement for months and this one has been an absolute blessing. Let™™s talk specifics first, the dryer is a 7.8 cu front load washer electric dryer that combines a ton of space with a lot of smart features.
So far we have used this baby for everyday loads, a ridiculous amount of towels, a huge comforter and everything in between. It has handled each one easily and everything comes out dry and fluffy.
This machine is energy star certified so it™™s designed to reduce energy but still gets the job done.

Very quiet! We didn™™t have to do any of the installation however from the looks of it it was easy. They are heavy! The dryer I™™ve noticed i have to run twice for a comforter but everything else dries well. I haven™™t figured out the app on how to turn them on from my phone but i do like that it alerts me when it™™s done.
