The microwave is spacious and easy to work. It heats up fast and have your food at the temperature you desire. The venting works on the inside, I chose the wrong microwave as to the venting. There are several control buttons for whatever temperature you want. And the sound is not too loud. Over all I recommend this brand to anyone.

This microwave does the job. We leave it on the high power setting and also defrost frozen food well. The vent cover broke really easily, here to order a new one. Also wish the vent did a better job vacuuming air from the bottom of the microwave and blowing it out on top.

GE products fail too soon

This is the third ge over the stove microwave I™€™ve replaced. They all fail too soon... the first one when slightly out of warranty. Only due to my laziness in ease of re-installation and that this microwave matches the Ge stove that I haven™€™t replaced it with a different manufacturer. Since well be relocating soon I hope this one lasts long enough and will not need to replaced again. The keypad on this mod is not very responsive... one has to press down too firmly as compared to the previous units. I won™€™t be buying Ge products in the future.

Love new microwave

We had our GE Microwave, basically the same model, for 12 years. I did not now how much I used it until I did not have it. The new one was installed today and works well. GE kept the size the same so that it fit well above our stove and between our cabinets. It is basically the same as the one we had. The drivers and installers were very polite and personable and knew what they were doing. They were only in our house for about 10 minutes. Using my new microwave while making dinner for tonight. Love it.

Product is good. Price is better. I do find I have to push the front panel harder than my previous microwave. Perhaps it's just because it's new and will become easier with use. We have all GE appliances. Our dishwasher is a GE profile which is an upgrade.
