The unit never worked well from day 1 water leaked and then the machine started tripping the GFI. The service was terrible . LG person showed up and said they didnt have the parts and to call for another appointment. Then the next service appointment canceled. Excuse after excuse. I finally convinced Bestbuy to take it back.

I bought this machine one month ago and I never thought I would have so many problems with a washer dryer unit. The dryer vent is clogged and Im constantly getting a d80 code on the machine. The LG technician came out and blames it on the appliance store. Im frustrated. I didnt ask for my dryer to break.

LG Lemon and Worst customer support ever

Purchased a LG LaundryTower and it was a lemon out of the box. The two separate units vibrated at different rates and the metal squeak whenever the washer was spinning. Contacted Customer service and submitted videos showing the problem. Was asked to submit POP and Serial Tag via text. Received 3 different case numbers because customer service is incompetent and keeps closing the case and not acknowledging responses. Never received promised follow-up. The issue is still not resolved. Would not buy again or recommend the product.

I have not received my washer and dryer yet and I would appreciate not receiving all the emails about reviews and registration until it is actually delivered and installed.

Although whoever installed this washer/dryer tower combo failed to remove the shipping bolts on the washer which caused a horrible scraping noise and and unbalanced spin. After contacting LG as well as the builder of my home the bolts were removed by the builder and both washer and dryer are working quietly and flawlessly. I would highly recommend LG for this washer/dryer combo. My LG Refrigerator and OLED TV work as flawlessly as the above mentioned.

Purchased this model a year ago for the space savings and it worked but the washer was a pain then the dryer quit working all together.To be honest I dont do a lot of laundry maybe 2 loads a week as I am single and live alone. About 7 months into owning this unit the dryer quit working. The dryer display powered on I could make all the selections of cycle type temperature run time etc but when I hit the start button it would not run. Only a faint audible click from somewhere inside. Anyway LG service was fairly quick to send someone out to the remote town I live in to repair it and relieve me of hang drying my clothes. Fast forward about a month and the same exact problem with the dryer happens again. This time it was nothing but delays and cancellations with LG to try and get it repaired again. I have been without a working dryer now for about a month and a half. It got to the point where LG finally decided to just replace the unit. It will hopefully be showing up next week sometime. In the mean time I have a friend who has been letting me do laundry at her house with her 30 year old mis matched washer and dryer set. Why not wash my own and just go dry at her house you ask? Well thats a different story. The washer works and runs but is constantly giving off a UE unbalanced error code where I have to go restart it many many times when it tries to run the spin cycle. I pull out the heavier towels blankets etc and wring them out to try giving it a chance to achieve balance but this rarely works. I was washing only 3 white t-shirts and a white hand towel it wouldnt even get through the cycle without the UE error. I believe it is due to the design of the wash drum being canted downward at the rear. When it tries to spin up naturally gravity will draw everything to the rear of the drum which seems very unbalanced to me. I guess Ill see how well the replacement unit does and if it still has the same issues Ill demand a refund and go buy a different brand.

I love it and hate it. The combined tower is a nice space saver in an apartment previous units barely fit when stacked. Washes clothes as expected rinses better than my previous washer app is okay but my partner hates itbecause a lot of the presets require the app some delicate or handwash option but you are still required to interact on the actual washer and dryer so clothes in washer pull out phone select downloaded on washer start on washer. I believe you can enable starting the washer/dryer on the app but then you completely disable the ability to start on the washer its crazy they cant give you the option. The 2 biggest issues are the rinse and spin and the inability to just add more time to the dryer. If you need to rinse and spin you have to use the app and you cant select the temperature. It wont do cold rinses only medium/cool and there are no guides or documentation discussing water temperature for the unit. Cold is required for a lot of clothes. Also never had a dryer where you cant add more or less time not a big deal but there are just so many basics missing and the app falls short on providing them properly. A lot of this can be fixed in

We bought the WashTower last month and we like it. It washes and dries well and the cycles dont take much time. We like the appearance and functionality especially the control in the center of the tower. My wife isnt that tall so the controls being placed there make it very convenient for her. The tower is also very quiet when it is working except for the alarm that lets us know the cycle has ended. The volume is just right to allow us to hear wherever we are in our home. WE would definitely recommend this machine to others.

When I contacted customer service they informed me that they have no estimated delivery date and suggested I deal directly with the delivery company. I love my LG washtower Having had a LG set in the past I wanted them in my current home but our ceiling height is low. We remodeled our bathroom to bring the laundry upstairs from the basement and this washtower was a perfect choice it fit with enough clearance to maneuver into place Having the control panel in the middle is a bonus and so convenien The features and cycle choices are awesome and it does everything my old set did AND MORE If you dont use the LG ThinQ app you are not using the appliance to its fullest and best capacity because of the numerous cycles options available for download. And it notifies my watch when a cycle is done too

Short Drain Hose

I have one installed in my washer closet. The water drain hose on it is about 60 long it does not wrap all the way around the back as shown in photo - its at least 12 short The photo on the website shows a hose that when shipping wraps all the way around the back of the washer: have measured one in a store to be about 100 I cant speak to the operation of the machine as I cant use it The seller will be taking it back. Such a waste of everybodys time and efforts.

Both said just rubber smell/ normal/will go away BUT still a smelly issue This condition was present when product was delivered new/unused. Store model did not have smell. Think twice if this is your only washer

I bought my LG ThinQ in November 2021. Within first 6 months the D80 code came on and I consistently clean the lint tray and the hose going outside. I started noticing that my friends who own LGs also constantly get this code. About 3 months ago my driver would not turn off. A couple weeks ago I reached out to LG. I was told that the warranty only applies to very minimal parts on the washer and that the dryer only needed to be cleaned out. We the customer service agent and I ran a test through the Internet connection on my unit and found that I have no clogs. I repeatedly told the tech I was not worried about clogs and that my dryer will not turn off or stop spinning which caused me to eventually find the breaker in the electrical box and when the clothes were done I would flip the breaker. My dryer then started giving the np code because I was flipping the breaker. What a disaster Where to find a repair guy? LG had a repair guy who could come diagnose for $405 but honestly once all was said and done I might as well just buy a new unit. I will NEVER buy LG again. The washer doesnt clean the best. It never dissolves all the detergent so things need to be rewashed. I even use pods so my kids do not put in too much detergent.

We got our new washtower the first week of June. There are a lot of control options I found my way to what cycles I like best. Im pleased with most every feature. I wish the doors opened the opposite way due to our space but it is managed how it is. I did not think I would care about the ThinQ app but have found that feature very useful.

So quiet It does a great job washing and drying. Its very sensitive with the vent error. Weve had it professionally installed and had out ducts professionally cleaned clean the filter with each wash but had consistently gotten a vent or from the very first load weve dried.

Product is good but not compatible with new builds. The new electric breakers and GFCI outlets prevent the machine from operating correctly when it uses hot water. It flips the breaker every time. This leaves the homeowner having to replace a safe GFCI outlet with a non-GFCI outlet or illegally modify the breaker box to operate the washer. I really like the u it but it has been an expensive issue to track down and resolve.

Ergonomic WashTower - Support Needs Improvement

We ordered this WashTower from LG Online. It was delivered and installed for free within 7 days of purchase. Unfortunately the top cover of the dryer was peeled back and damaged and needed to be returned and replaced. All of the customer service options and support were very disappointing: phone long holds disconnected calls inaccurate information multiple transfers chat not helpful at all and text messages to the Orders Department responded only once after that I texted several times and received no response. It took 19 days from original purchase date until the delivery of the replacement for the damaged tower. So why the 5-Star rating - we love this WashTower and understand that a damaged product requiring replacement is probably a rare experience. We are especially impressed with the relative quiet during the spin cycle set to High. This is important to us as our tower is located in our kitchen and adjacent to our dining and living rooms. One of the best features in the central location of the touch controls for both the washer and dryer i.e. washer controls at the top of the washer dryer controls at the bottom of the dryer. This mean not having to reach high up to set control dryer settings.

I wish you offered more than just 5 stars I would like to give it 10 out of 10. My LG gas range far exceeded my expectations from functionality to striking good looks. It consistently performs all tasks and was very easy to learn how to use the functions. The Easy Clean function is so simple and fast 10 minutes that I clean the oven nearly nightly so its always sparkly. I havent tried the air fryer function just yet but have no doubt it will perform as all the other functions - this range simply does what it promises.

Purchased the tower at Best Buy was told it was one of best sellers. Once installed the test was done but the installer just stayed enough time to make sure it runs but not for the whole cycle. All was fine I then did a load and there was water everywhere my downstairs neighbor called because water went down to them. We called Best Buy and got a replacement had to wait another weekagain as the water started drain again no one stayed for the full cycle to end I heard the water gushing at the draining stageonce again water ended in my downstairs neighbors house. I no longer want this product and requested a full refund. I am now 1 whole month without a washer I am liable for damages to my neighbors home and have to probably spend $80 in wash/dry and my time at the laundromat AND now I have to shop for a washer and dryer. Beyond frustrated.

Washer and dryer work as expected. Main gripe is the dumb vibration sensor that seems to be integral to it working. The only reason I didnt knock it down further is because I have a 5 year repair warranty but still a less than 1 year old washer shouldnt stop working just because of a dumb sensor when the washer itself is mechanically perfect. Never been able to use the app features because it seems to hate wi-fi mesh systems so I gave up on that also. I did try turning off the 5Ghz signal and retrying but nothing.

Water pump failed after 3 months of regular use.

Bought this unit about 3 months ago just for regular home use the water pump has completely failed. Currently trying to get warranty repair service but the part has been on backorder for almost a month now. When it did work it was great though. But a month with no washer only 3 months of owning this Id advise to look into different brands for a stackable unit.
