the letter and numbering on the stove that i bought with this microwave have come off and the knobs are peeling. samsung acknowledges that it was a defect but refused to fix it because they deemed it cosmetic. plus, they give you the run around when you contact them. save yourself the headache and buy something else.

we purchased this from hd back in november of 2020. it's been an exercise in frustration ever since. the "fast boil" coils are anything but, taking 20+ minutes to boil a pot of water, and then another 5-6 minutes to return to a boil after adding the pasta. conversely, it's impossible to actually simmer anything. even on low, the burners will continue to heat. this requires moving the pot from burner to burner. this is not practical when trying to cook on more than 2 burners at once. oven temp varies by more than 50f when set above 400. we've had it serviced under warranty 3 times, with no improvement to functionality. i used to like to cook, but i don't any more. i truly regret this purchase.

as long as your appliance is under warranty samsung is great about fixing any issues. the problem is once your warranty is over they charge you for a technician visit and any parts needed. what if this is a manufacturer issue? i had a samsung tech come out and fix the ice maker of my fridge that was still under warranty. i mentioned the issue i was having with my stove; when on low the temp would quickly rise and when on high it would not heat up enough. he mentioned that had to be a problem in the motherboard, something behind the knobs like small switches that needed to be replaced. samsung will not correct the issue without charging me therefore once i replace my appliances i will not buy samsung again and will switch to its competitor.

so far so good.
i have had this oven since january and it is working out so far. the bottom storage drawer is a little flimsy and it has some type of type of little specs on it that i am trying to buff out. thus the 4 stars.

i payed for the install of this range and the removal of my previous gas range. this was not completed as the company said they do not handle gas ranges. at no point did samsung indicate that would be an issue in the purchasing process. i was told i would be refunded for these items. i have not been refunded still after 2 weeks and spending hours on the phone and messenger. i was planning on buying a samsung microwave and dishwasher, but after this experience i no longer plan to.
additionally, no power cord was provided with the oven. there was no option to purchase a power cord during the buying process either.

Knobs to sensitive, fire trap!

although the finction of the range is pretty good, the design is terrible! the knobs are extremely sensitive. several times my husband has noticed the burners were on without is knowing how they got on. i just assumed i had knocked the knob and not thought much about it. however, yesterday we had a kitchen fire in top of the range! i had left a box on the top of the range (not a good idea, i know). we are assuming the cat must have knocked the knob to the burner on as no one was near the stove. the box caught fire and now we have extensive damage. i have researched and others have had the same problem with the knobs (without fires). samsungs only response has been to suggest buying knob covers. they insist that you must push and turn to get burners on. i assure you you don't!

at first i loved my samsung stove so much that i convinced my mother in law and mom to each get one. i regret that decision as we all dislike our stoves now! my mother in law had hers for less than two years before replacing it. on my stove the lights on the display are always flickering, the 'hot surface' light never turns off, it has started to make noises like a rocketship, the burner heat is either low or high even if you adjust it you cannot get an accurate temperature, and the final straw is the surface has bubbled up and is beginning to peel. i do not recommend any samsung appliances!

first off, steam cleaning is useless, in my book. had one before, waste of time. i dont think this range knows the difference between normal and rapid boil. both front burners boil in the same amount of time. trying to obtain a true simmer on these burners, doesn't happen. back burners are only for small pots or pans. the knobs are in the way tp place a large pot, if i really need the burner i have to remove the knobs. poorly designed but im stuck with it

this is an awesome looking appliance to add to you kitchen. it works really well. there is one draw back. the glass cook top is not very practical for cooking. it always has residue on i and i have to scrap it off. i has also chipped around the burner ring. i have always had a glass cook top and never had any problems with them. not one of my previous ranges ever chipped. how long are these suppose to last and are there any warranties? it would be nice if the sales people were more informative on this issue.

the range cooks well, bakes well and the self clean works well. the major test will be how it holds up this thanksgiving. one flaw that i do not like is that the top of the range scratches easily. i cook more since we have been home for quarantined and while it looks good. the burner circles show use despite proper cleaning and pan suggestions. other than that, its a great range!

We bought this range about one month ago and like it so far. It's our first smooth top glass cooktop. So it's been a learning experience of how to keep it clean. It gets dirty pretty easily. But it's nice compared to a old style element top. As for the rapid boil option it has on front 2 eyes. You should only turn on the inter-most section of the element if you pan doesn't cover all of the outer part of outer element. Because water will never boil or take forever to boil since element will sense pan not heating and turn off and on every 30 seconds. If you do it correctly water will boil pretty fast. So now that we know how to use our new range it's great and I would recommend to anyone.

We had our old stove quit on us. We went to a major DIY store and this was one of a few models that they had in stock and could deliver quickly. It checked all the boxes on what were looking for in a new range. It doe seem to take a long time for oven to preheat.

I bought this two weeks ago and so far I love it. The only downside so far is the odor from using the oven for the first time. I ran it at 400 for an hour per the instructions and it still has an odor. I actually ran it at 400 three different times. I'm currently running a steam clean cycle in hops the odor will go away. I'm excited to use the convection oven feature.

FAILURE of the timer, delay start and temperature settin began after 5 daya ise.
Customer service and arranging for service is difficult and non-responsive.
We have several Samsung products, never again.
The difficulty in reaching and obtaining service is abysmal.

this oven is well designed. two items could be improved. all glass tops are hard to keep clean and this model is no exception. i wish there was another option for electric stoves that looks modern but clean up easier. the bottom drawer does not glide too smoothly.

the worst experience i have ever had. bought a brand new oven and 32 days later it completely stopped working. 12 days without my stove. can't cook for my family, i have small children. i couldn't make dinner for father's day and the worst part, samsung's response to all this is a don't care attitude from samsung comrades. its june 22nd and they have yet to repair my stove.

we received our stove friday afternoon and noticed on saturday morning, the front right burner either is off or max heat.
after talking to the "samsung experts" online, they advised us to unplug and plug the appliance in. when this did not resolve the issue, they advised me to put a repair request in.
this appliance is brand new! we have used this stove 3 times. we were not told if we would have to pay for the technician to come to the home for the repair or answered any other questions.
i will update the review, pending on the resolution of this problem.
